I was wondering how many of you out there had ever eaten fried pumpkin blossoms? My family has been fixing them as long as I can remember. Its kind of hit or miss around here of people who have had them before. Just wanted to see how many others had had them. :D

I am not sure if they were pumpkin or not but they were just labeled as "squash blossoms" at Emerils in Las Vegas. Very very good, worth the 12 bucks for three? maybe not, but since i have an ass load of squash blooming i may try to make some at home.

i have had fried squash blossoms as well. Very tasty. I think they were served with some kind of creamy sauce but don't remember.

I had them a couple of times. They are a good grease delivery system. The last time I had them they left a bad aftertaste and I haven't had them since.
