I wish I'd seen that thread about staying sober at the SIBF an hour sooner. I just made reservations to go to Seattle on a family matter. I get in about an hour after the festival ends. Dang.

Although I grew up in Seattle, when I left, beer there meant Ranier or Oly. I'll be in Seattle and out on the Olympic Peninsula for a couple weeks. I've found one good micro brewery in Pt Townsend. Anyone got any recommendations for other spots to hit for great local beers?

I don't get over to the Peninsula very much, but maybe this can help!

Not sure what all places serve it but if you haven't had it try Mac & Jacks African Amber. They are a small brewery in Redmond that does not bottle. My favorite brew by far. But, that could make it someone else's least favorite.
