Looks like one of the standard Lowes or HD PVC junction boxes.

I agree. I'm planning to mold a rubber cap to completelly isolate that nasty exposed conection and make it safe and water proof

Nice work, cool idea with the plug-in-place control box. I like the size of your alarm light. You mention there is a sound alarm, is that part of you PID controller, or did you find a tiny LED light buzzer combo?
