DFH is having a contest for brew called American Beauty strong pale ale....it won't let me add a link to post from my phone but if you google it or look at DFH's Facebook page you will see a link. Maybe someone can reply with a link but I can't get it to show up.

Not to hijack the thread but does anyone else give their beers Dead-esqe titles? So far I have brewed
DeadHead Red
Helles in A Bucket
Black Peter (Black IPA)
Workingman's Mild

I would love to brew a Biere de Mars Hotel!!

I did a chocolate stout called Black Muddy River and a bourbon barrel porter called Casey's Cannonball. Man this thread came out last month? I miss all the good ones.

I've brewed a Ramble On Red ale and a Let It Grow Pale Ale in which I used my homegrown hops...

I like "Helles In A Bucket"... good thinking! ;)

I'm trying to find a dead themed name for a cream ale....any suggestions? Great names in this thread guys! I considered black muddy river for my barrel aged oatmeal stout but after losing half my beard settled on burnt whiskers oakedmeal stout :/

If only it were legal... magic mushrooms (I can't be the only one that thought this.)

If you brewed it in New Mexico or Florida you could use psilocybin in your beer. I dunno if it would have any psychoactive effect if put into beer at any time during the process.

'Candyman Cream Ale'
'Creamberland Blues'
'Cosmic Cream Ale'

Kinda corny but they'ed fit the dead connection

I got 8 plants that I got from great lakes hops last year and got cones off 5 of them the first year! Can't wait to see what I get this season.

Heat destroys the effect of psilocybin, so you'd have to steep after brewing, hypothetically, of course. Don't ask me how I know this.

:mug:
