My friend, a BMC regular, at my house preferred this to a bud light in a blind taste test.

Really, a very light yet flavorful brew with the tiniest citrus tang.

What yeast did u go with ?.. and also I'm completely new to lagers... what was your fermentation and conditioning log?

I'm sorry, but this is also goin to be my first lager brew as I just ordered a 55# bag of the bohemian pilsner for my saison, & am looking for other great uses for it!

"Lagered in keg" means what? I am guessing it should be kept cold, but I don't know much beyond that...

Thanks for the help - this sounds delicious!

lagering literally means to store or to keep. The modern beer definition would be storing at a cooler temp for a certain time before packaging or serving. Flavors tend to mellow, blend, and even peak at certain ages. Etc...

Interesting recipe! I will stick with some perle and saaz tomorrow but i never even though of using cascades!

Brewing lager and all grain have been the best thing i have done since i started homebrewing. People are really missing out.

I make most of my lagers in 3-6 weeks using saflager 34/70 around 16-18C.

When you say lagered in a keg for 1.5 months, do you mean post-filtration? Newb with newb questions here, thanks.

Interesting hop choices! I brew nearly the exact same beer, just with Imperial Urkel yeast and Saaz every time. Might try your citrusy hop variation and see how I like it. The floor malted bohemian Pilsner from weyermann is absolutely killer. I used to brew my Czech lagers with whatever Pilsner malt I had on hand. Can’t go back after having tried the floor malted weyermann product. It has so much flavor.
