Just thought I'd post an update on my first brew. Here is my previous post (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/newbie-question-just-need-reassurance-193239/)
The blowoff tube worked great. It bubbled like a fish tank for a good 18 hours and then slowly tapered off yesterday. I was able to put the airlock back in and has now slowed to about bubble every 20 seconds or so. My plan is to leave it in the primary for 3 weeks and then bottle for another 3 before cracking one open. I can't wait!! I'm already trying to decide what my next brew will be haha. All these Maple Nut posts have me leaning that way. I'm a Maple Syrup junky so that sounds excellent!
