Any recipes for kvas where you boil a rye bread that somebody has actually used?

I haven't brewed a true kvass, but I have made a beer with half of the fermentables coming from rye bread. In fact, I just kegged my second brewing of it. I'll probably brew another soon with a different yeast.

My wife makes it all the time w/out the bread.
One 12oz of malta poured into a clean empty 2 liter
soda bottle. 1/4 sugar. Fill 3" from top with room temp water, and
pitch bread yeast. Cap tight, and store around 70+ temps until the
bottle is extremely tight (carbonation begins)..usually 2 days...move
to fridge to chill.
