Keg beer and gas line fittings for 1/4 inch MFL

What is normally used to connect 3/16th vinyl beer line to 1/4 inch MFL quick connects? Is this Barbed Swivel Nut 1/4" Flare, 1/4" Barb the right part? Will 3/16th beer line stretch enough to fit over the 1/4" barb?

To connect 5/16th gas line to the 1/4" MFL on the gas in quick connect, is this Barbed Swivel Nut, 1/4" Flare, 5/16" Barb is the right item?

Is it necessary to use the nylon flare washers to ensure a tight leak-free fit?

Are there alternatives to these for MFL connections?

I just want to make sure I have all the hardware I need to go along with the 1/4 inch MFL QDs I bought.
