I am doing a milk stout this weekend and have never used lactose befor. When should I add this ? Boil , post boil, primary, secondary ? Cheers, Gabe

I add it "to taste" in the bottling bucket before I add the priming sugar.

It can be added anywhere. Until you know how creamy you want your beer, do it in the bottling bucket. Since I know how creamy I want mine, I added it to the boil.
