Maritime Brewery in Seattle makes it and it has a cult following. I'll admit it isn't the best tasting beer I've ever had, but there is something special about it. Don't get me wrong, it does taste mighty fine but the real reason I'm such a big fan is that this is one serious big beer, and when you drink 2 or 3 of them, you're in for a really good night. (and a slow next day) I'm convinced that it's beer's distant cousin to Absinthe. A night out on Jolly Roger is unlike any other night... It's the cure for Seattle's grey winter blues. I've been known to buy up as much as I can get (they only make one batch and it goes fast) and store it for enjoyment far into the new year.

Anyone else a fan of this evil brew?

Anyone have a clone? That would be quite a project...
