Okay so I am going to do my first all grain this summer, but I am planning the recipe now out of boredom, here it is:

11 lb Pale US 2-row
1 lb Crystal 30L
.5 lb Carafoam
1 oz Chinook (60min)
1.5 oz Centennial (10min)
1.5 oz Chinook (5min)
3 oz Centennial (1min)

1.5oz Chinook dry hop (5 days)
1.5oz Centennial dry hop (5 days)

What do you think? I want to make a pretty basic IPA, because I love hoppy brews. The only thing I would be concerned with is the hop schedule - apparently Chinook is a very pungent hop, and I am afraid that it will be too bitter.

If you would like to stay within range of an american IPA, I would drop the chinook 60 minutes to 0.75 oz. Other than that, it looks pretty tasty. That is an awful lot of dry hops for a 5 gallon batch. I would cut those in half to a total of 1.5 oz. Just my 1/12 of a shilling
