Honey combs in beer

Has anybody every used honey comb in beer? My brother is using a Mr. Beer and wants to try and add honey comb, I have never heard of it, so I was looking for some advice.
 
I don't think it'd do anything except add honey and bee butts to your beer, honestly. Raw beeswax is, well, wax and very taste neutral.
 
honey, sure. honey comb...naw. all kinds of crud in it like bee legs, stingers, wax, etc.
 
I think it would be fairly expensive and essentially the same as adding honey to it. Save your money and simply add in honey. I don't think anything in the honey comb will negatively affect the beer such as a the wax. Just my opinion, try what tickles your fancy.
