My kegerator died, so I'm looking at getting a freezer, specifically, this one:

I only plan on having three kegs total, so this one should work. It's plenty tall enough, so do I really need a collar, and if not, can I just have my taps in the front?
I understand about getting your lines out of the way, but I plan on a clean line install, and not letting them run loose everywhere.

Well, nevermind. It looks to have a wraparound condenser and evaporator.

Collar it is!

Yup this is the problem. Most freezers have coolant lines in the front so you can't drill them out.

Only way to do it with a freezer is to have a tower come out of the lid of the freezer. Otherwise, you've got to go the collar route.
