With the supplied brushes, I can't seem to get the brush to reach the top of the carboy. Anyone have any advice?
How do I clean the krausen crust off of the side of the glass carboy?

put it in the tub with warm water; fill it a little and tip it up-side down. the water on the outside will keep the water inside.
also light a candle and play soft music (we all like a little romance).

oxyclean works great for that sort of thing.

Soak in warm water with Oxyclean or PBW.

Oxiclean an a carboy brush.
I usually just fill ny carboy with warm water and put about three or four scoops of oxyclean in it and let it sit overnight. Only rinsing is necessary the next day.

I put a 90 degree bend in my brush so it look a like a big L and that let me scrub the stuff off.

If you have a hose you could work the angles somehow. I have managed to do that before. Or you could fill the carboy full of sanitizer and let it sit over night but the only down side is that it waste some water.
