Am currently brewing this:

Followed Brew-Happy's recipe with the following changes:

Peach/Mango white tea
2 tbsp honey
juice of 1 lemon
Went on the high end with ginger - 2 tbsp, for 5 - 500mL bottles, i like the strong flavor but would not used any more

Got 5 - 500mL bottles out of it (mostly cause that was as much liquid as the pot i had could handle).

I got thirsty tonight, and as the bottles were very firm and had spent a day or so in the fridge, figured was good enough to crack one open (filtered out the grated ginger, no noticeable yeast flavor after 2 days):

Yes it was (and is) quite good. I would probably consider it a "spicy" drink.

Flavor seems to be improving each day. Going to try another batch with some maple syrup as well, as I think it would complement the current flavors I'm getting from it.

I will also be cutting back on the sugars due to the addition of maple syrup and (previously) honey, and there was so much sugar in this batch that carbonation was every high (no burst bottles though).
