I've used Ohio spring water in some of my extract brews. I think the minerals in helped it taste better vs tap water.
 
yes, bottled spring water is great for brewing. I also use distilled water for brewing with good results but I believe that makes the water softer and not suitable for some beers?

Some told me using distilled water untreated for my 1st partial mash would result in a bland tasting beer. IDK,it tastes a lot like SNPS to me...just fresher & cleaner.
