Anyone here layer any bines for the specific purpose of producing Rhizomes? If so I have a few questions......
1. How long do you let a bine grow before laying it down?
2. How deep do you bury it, just enough to cover it?
3. How many Rhizomes can you expect out of a layered bine?
4. When do you dig up/cut-up the bine?
5. Is there any harm in doing this the first year since you aren't overly interested in cone production anyway?
