I just bottled my first batch of apfelwein yesterday. Bottled in 750mL wine bottles. I also used those vinyl, meltable covers to go over the cork. Turned out fairly nice. Now I have to figure out what I'm doing for a label.

I had intended to give this as gifts also, but after tasting it, I highly doubt a lot of people will enjoy it. I'm a fan of dry wines, so it's great to me. But, if you don't like dry wines, forget it... You'd be better off back sweetening it.
 
I was thinking of making a bottle hanger type lable with serving suggestions listed on it, sweeten with splenda, sprite, warm with cinnamon, etc . I was thinking of carbing though to make more like a sparkling cider.
