I just bought a keg from this guy http://worcester.craigslist.org/for/447842637.html They are legitimate and he was a nice guy.

"I have 1/2 kegs (15.5 gal.) in good condition. I have sold a few already, but I have more. They are going fast so don't wait.Build your kegerator now or make a brewing kettle. Call 774-230-1768 Happy Brewing"

"They are not stolen, they were sent in for scrape by a small brewery that went out of business."
 
They're $45. Decent price.

Too much of a haul for me, when I'm not sure I'll ever really NEED more than the one. But, if someone else buys one, I'll give them the money to pick up an extra for me, I just can't make a road trip to Worcester for a couple weeks.
