Decided to brew this last minute, I'm mid mash right now. I put my own recipe together, mostly based off reading all of the pumpkin topics that were around last month.

2.5 gal batch

3# us 2row
2# marris otter
0.5# Crystal 20

Mash(ing) at 151 for 60 min, I added a 15oz can of Libby's 100% pumpkin (not filling) to the mash.

60 min boil

0.5oz Saaz @ 60
Irish moss @ 10
3/4 Tablespoon Cinnamon @ 10
1/4 Tablespoon Ground Ginger @ 10
0.5oz Saaz @ 5

I'm using a harvested Nottingham yeast - I plan on fermenting on the lower end, then crashing it in the low 40s.

About 6% ABV, 18 IBU, 6 SRM

Any thoughts or comments?

Well, I guess it's not too bad or someone would have said something. The harvested Nottingham I pitched exploded with action! Should be a nice ale.

That sounds decent, let us know how it turns out, i bet that will have a great color to it. From the 3 pumpkins i have done it always seems it needs a few months in the bottle until i start deciding its good.
