It's finally here...

My first brew day Feels like it took years. An adult Christmas for sure!
.... logically, next comes the first brewday question.

I am using my Grandmas old 22qt canning pot (as a flapper in the 20s I'd like to think she approves). It is aluminum and has not been used in years. I cleaned it very well, but do you think I should oxidize it? She used it all the time but it has been out of service for probably 15 years. Thanks!

Wouldn't hurt to boil some water in it. It would be a good test to see how it works as well. Cheers!!!

Scrub with it clean and rinse it well and your good to go!
