Just kegged my first anything ever....literally just put the regulator on the CO2 for the very first time. Now, I'm used to SCUBA regulators/tanks/gauges, but am I crazy or does this Tapright regulator screw clockwise to increase pressure and counter clockwise to decrease pressure??? I initially screwed in in (tight?) clockwise, without having it connected to anything, and was going to turn the tank on to check the amount in the tank (it was full I know, but just wanted to see HOW full) and the meter pegged out and the pressure relief (safety)valve opened by itself. So, now I've got it connected to my keg of cider and noticed that it did the same thing initially. But as I turned the regular screw counter clockwise, the pressure gauge dropped. I assume this is normal? somebody please say "YES".....
