Here is the recipe. We are going for moderation in the hopping. It's a pretty straight-forward recipe. My question is.....will the Simcoe come through? I have more but was looking go easy on the hops.

10 lbs 2-row
1 lb Caramel 60
.3 lbs Carapils

1 oz Pearle 60min
.5 oz Simcoe 20min
.5 oz Simcoe 5min

Wyeast 1056

I would move the 20 minute addition up to 30 and toss in another .5 oz at 15 minutes to get some hop flavor(just me though). Otherwise that looks like a solid recipe.

Haven't tried it myself, but award winning pub brewing said somewhere to get about 40% of your IBUs from late hops (20 mins or less) to really make the hops pop in APA.

Beersmith has the simcoe calculated at 16 IBU'S out of 38. So that is close to 40%(just over I think).
