Hi Guys,
I'd like to post some pictures of my last DIY project hoping that it could be useful for someone.
I took inspiration from some projects found on this website and on others.
I brew in an apartment and I need to store all the equipment in the basement so I need the mill station to be disassemblable in order not to take too much space.
I consider also the bucket setup but I needed more space as I have a 50 liters brewing system (13 gallons) and I need to mill more than 10 kg (22 pounds) and a bucket was not enough.
So basically the base consists of a plastic box and a wood panel to wedge in.
By this way the wood panel will be well fixed and avoid any movement due to the drill vibrations during milling.
The monster mill is fixed over another wood panel which is possible to remove unscrewing some bolts.
The plastic hopper was built sometimes ago for a modified pasta machine and I adapt it to the new mill. It is not a big hopper but it is ok for space saving. I just add a plywood panel to fix it to the mill.
Here it is the station all assembled.
To finish I added the lateral protection.
And to finish a short video of the test.
Now cant wait the time for next brew (an Irish Stout)!
