By the way for my birthday wife, son and his family accompanied me to Green Dragon Bistro and Pub in Portland Oregon. As a Rogue Nation citizen I was entitled to a free beer and T-shirt. I enjoyed a Lucky Lab Porter (local micro-brewed). Nice time had by all.
As I write this have an Imperial Porter in the bottles conditioning. My son and I brewed it about three weeks ago. Need to let it condition another couple of weeks and I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Taste tests subsequent to gravity readings during brewing and fermenting process indicate it should be a good one. Can't wait to try it.
It started at OG of 1.066 and finished at FG of 1.014. With an ABV of 6.9% and attenuation of 76% I think.
