So some have used 2 cans of extract beer kits for one batch to give it a better body/taste etc etc, has anyone ever tried using two different kinds of extracts for one batch? I mean two kits that are sort of close in style, like a Cooper's IPA and a Coopers Real ale? Or would it be a recipe for disaster?

Just a thought...

You can do it but if you double the amount of extract without doubling the size of the batch, youll effectively double the gravity of the beer and greatly increase the alcohol content. This will require more hops (assuming these arent pre-hopped extracts) and a yeast more suited for higher alcohol beers.

Long-story-short: I wouldn't do it without some careful planning and considerations. I would just stick to the simple plan. :)
