thanks to you all's info, i as able to cut nice hole out of the top of my keg. my problem i have now is that when i set the converted keg on my turkey fryer, the base diameter of it is a hair smaller than the kegs bottom ring so it's kind of wobbley and if it isn,t perfectly balanced it tips. anyboy run into similar problem and have easy fix that doen't require welding new base on turkey fryer? i appreciate any help. lou

Put a cheap BBQ grate that is bigger than the burner base. Put the keggle on the BBQ grate. Done, cheap, easy, and it works.
