Weyerebacher Double Simcoe IPA

Well, picked up a four pack of the aformentioned brew and a six of Lagunitas' Undercover Investigation Shut Down brew. Didn't really think about the price I paid at the time, because it was my birthday and all. That little mofo four pack was $21.00! Eeek! It was, however, pretty good. A little too bitter at first, but then the taste settled down a bit. Oh yeah. The other thing I didn't notice was both of these bad boys were 9% ABV. I'd rather stick to the Lagunitas' UISD brews at $11 or so for six. Just my dos centavos...

Definitely spendy. When beers cost that much I normally will just pick up the 22 oz instead if they have it. There are so many great beers out now, it is hard to justify the price almost. Glad you enjoyed it, happy birthday.
