I am brewing the Litehaus Bully Wheat clone and decided to mix up the hops some. I really like citrus notes in some of the beers i drink and I think they would only accentuate the refreshing nature of a light wheat beer.

6# 2 row
2.5# white wheat
.5# flaked wheat
.25# honey malt

70 minute boil

60 min .25oz magnum
5 min .125oz citra
5 min .125oz sorachi ace

dry hop .125 citra on day 7 for 7 days
dry hop .125 sorachi ace " " "

I may add one ounce of lemon peel at day 7 but I may not as I want to see how the lemon of the sorachi comes through

According to hopville.com this will give me 14.4 IBU's which should be about right for a beer of this type.

I have thought about bumping the dry hop to .25oz each.

I think the citra and sorachi ace will go nicely with an American Wheat. I would think you could get away with bumping up the amounts to .25oz.
