I helped a roomates sister move a new fridge into here aptarment, becasue her old one died, and my died I mean the light still comes on but compressor doesn't.

I took it home, thinking there was something I could do to fix it but there isn't.

Is there anything I could do to it? or should I scrap it.

I'd say use it as a shell for fermenting in but it's probably too small.

Strip it for the doors and thermostat? Trusting you've ensured that if you bypass the thermostat - ie: send power direct to the compressor, no t-stat in the mix at all) it doesn't cool after a few minutes?

Otherwise see above ;)

Or if like me your fermenting area gets too cold in the winter, wrap the inside with flexwatt heat tape, use a temp controller and have a steady 60-65F fermenting temperature
Cheers
Paul;)
