Ok, so originally the shanks of my keezer had barbed ends. But through my various acquisitions I now have these beer line connectors that screw directly onto the shank. I proceeded to dremel off the barbs that were there, sand it all down to about 2000 grit for a good seal, and then connect my beer lines up this way. See pic:

Now I have two kegs hooked up this way, and no leaks.....but...

Logic tells me that a metal/metal seal is not the best way to go. Is there supposed to be a rubber washer in between these? If so, can someone post a link so I can pick up a few? Thanks!

I dont know from keg expeirence but I belive its all the same, with that screw on deal definitely use teflon tape and/or the rubber washer, both would be awesome.
