I was very sad to hear the announcement from them at the James River Home Brewers meeting last week. They are only about 10 miles from my house. Very nice people and very welcoming to beginners like me. I would really love to see someone else take over the business. I guess I need to go by an stock up before the 4th of July.

Original Gravity. They are here in Richmond, on the north side. Cool little shop, run by a home brewer. He actually just started a nano brewery - Final Gravity.
Artisanal cheese and homebrew is in Midlothian in the plaza with Capital Ale House.

havent seen anything on the internet about a place in Ashland. Think they must have been mistaken. There is a place outside of Fredricksburg The Brew Shop which is closer than driving to RVA.
Looks like they are doing a liquidation auction this weekend.
