Thought I would give this a try here.

I am looking for a 1/2" male coupling or nipple (1/2" male threads both sides) that has 3/8" threads on the inside of one the ends.

I want to be able to thread this into a 1/2" female coupling that cam on my Plastic Mini brew HLT that I use. i want to be able to make a hrad connection with my HERMS coil inside the tank through these couplings and need threads to go both ways.

Thanks

Bill

Get the tools out cause you gonna need to make that fitting. Your other option is to drill the side of your HLT for the HERMS coil.

I suspect you will have to do that or use a conversion fitting to get to the thread you need.

How much slack do you have for the coil in the HLT? Just as well use the reducing coupling and a 3/8" nipple.

Does the 1/2" nipple need to go through the wall of the hlt?
