OK, I drilled and punched two holes in my kettles with a drill/Greenlee punch, all went well.

But, I cannot get one of the kettles to seal. This scheme has an O-ring inside the kettle with an nut. I've reset the element three times with varying amounts of torque...cannot make it seal.

Any ideas that use my hardware configuration?

Thanks

Problems with a seal? Club it, thats what I would do!

Just kidding. Try your O-ring on the outside. I have seen it done this way on several HBT configurations. Good luck!

I had to put my oring on the outside of my keggles too when mounting my elements.

It leaked when I put it on the inside.
