Does anyone have the experience, or insider info, that can tell me the type of flavor/aroma hops they use?

I have been on a self-guided IPA tour, and found their hops aroma and taste different than others.

Thanks!
Eric

Thanks!

It's definitely different than the others we sampled tonight, and unique among them.

I'll have to try pure Willamette in the next IPA.

Jamil's recipe is for 58 IBU but mine was a little light on the bittering even though I had it set for the same amount. I guess my software measurement is a little off compared to what I can tell in comparing diferent recipes. Willamette is a nice hop though so even if it is not quite the same it is still really good.

Fwiw, BYO lists the IBUs @ 67 w:

.75 oz Horizon 11% @ 60
.90 oz Cascades 5% @ 30
.25 oz Willamette 5% @ 30
3.15 oz Cascades @ 0

They credit Tony Magee of Lagunitas for the recipe.
