My ale (black rock IPA) was too cold, so I put it beside the heater. It has no risen to around 85-86 degrees. Its been there for two days. did I kill the yeast? what should I do.

The yeast Live! Don't worry have a homebrew man. The increase in heat will have them making some more fusel alcohol than most people would like, but don't worry with time they will all be good.

Alright, thanks!
should I remove the cloths I have on it? Or should I just keep it at the same temperature? Seems like I should probably try and drop it a couple of degrees?

You should try to drop it down to around 70, but chances are that at that temp, it's already done.

well my gravity reading at 1.030, so I guess its not done yet...I bought a brew belt and moved it to a room temp place, so hopefully it will work itself out now.
