I'm trying to brew a a pale ale stout. I tasted one at a brewery near me and it was delicious. It was the color of a pale but had the taste and texture of a stout. I'm thinking of using coco nibs and coffee in a the secondary and I learned they used milk/lactose sugars during the boil. I heard these beers are hard to do. Anyone got a recipe I can plagiarize?
