It's the day after Christmas and all though the house... I don't know, just glad I don't have to put everything away just yet. PTN has been in bed for the past 36 hours with the chest cold to end all chest colds. Fortunately the cornucopia of medications I’ve taken seems to have started me in the path to recovery. I may yet live.

Just went to reserve a rental car in Miami, thought I’d splurge a little and rent a convertible just for the fun of it.

You can’t rent a car, any car, with a standard transmission, and unlike some participants in this thread (CB) I’ve got too much self respect to drive a Mustang with an automatic transmission. WTF?

What da fcku are you gonna do with a Mustang anyway? Zero chance your rascal scooter fits in that truck.

Renting a car.... Buying a car.... Manual transmission is hardly an option. Why? People are too lazy to drive.
I hate automatics.

Hard to text, eat a burger and manually shift all while smacking the kids in the backseat. We have just become too busy for standard transmission.

My kids won’t be in the back seat, my dive gear will be. I should be able to get a five speed.

I know, it’s ridiculous. Good luck finding a nice hand crank start anymore either.
