basically, just take the gravity points (e.g., 1.043 would be 43 points) and plug them into
(OG-FG)/OG x 100 = attenuation

That formula is used to determine apparent attenuation, of course. I use this calculator for alcohol content (and calorie count for curiosity). Calculator It will also give real attenuation.
