Ok as i am reading about yeast starters a question has popped into my head.... Are the differ t type of DME and if so would it matter which to use or has a higher fermentation possiblitly, or would it just depend on the recipe?
 
Just use whatever you have on hand, you don't need very much, and it is such a small amount compared to the batch that it shouldn't really matter.
