Help with water profile

We do not have a RO system and RO water is about $4 per 5 gallon bottle in my area. What beers would do well with my local water profile with the minimum amount of dilution?

I believe the sulfate is 342? Which we know is really high.

That water is pretty bad for brewing. High sodium, high magnesium, high sulfate, low calcium.

Hoppy beers might be OK (like a Burton Pale), but the high magnesium coupled with high sulfate will exaggerate "harsh" bitterness.

Go look at the sticky in brew science. You seem like another brewer who would benefits from using AJ's baseline adjustments for RO water.

I discarded my tap water for RO, and the results are impressive.

While it us another expense, It's worth it for me. I have to use RO even for mixing Star San. Otherwise, I get cloudy, slimy, useless Star San.

That really high sodium bothers me. I probably wouldn't use that water, and just buy RO water.

Just curious if we could at least have a English style pale ale with a lower dilution rate.
