my wife doesn't really like beer, but she loves wine coolers. i know these are just foofy beer. its a malt beverage. i saw a recipe for these many, many moons ago in BYO mag. can any one help me out???

i think it was some thing like this;

4.5 Lbs DME
one hop pellet(just so you can say your still making beer) :D
about 10 kool-aid packets
yeast

boil like usual. stir in kool-aid after transfering to fermenter.

Berry and fruit ciders! Strawberries, rasberries, blackberries, currants, plums, apricots. Five to eight pounds of fruit, apple juice to 5 gallons, any yeast. You can add all the sucrose you can ferment, because the cidery flaver is where you are headed anyway. I have a blackberry cider in keg that's about 8% and mixes well 50/50 with soda water.
