Just wondering if anyone has measured one of these for carboy sizing. I am thinking of getting one to make my first lager and just to control temps of ales when the house is a bit too warm. I know the local CT will open the box for me to let me measure, but I don;t want to bother them for nothing during one of their busiest weeks of the year.

That's nice, but I know there are cheaper alternatives out there. I've seen some of those college fridges used for that, and they are under $100 (under $50 used, wait till college gets out). Seems like you are paying a premium for a glass door and those nice shelves.
 
ditto on MonkeyWrench's sentiment. You could pick up an upright freezer or dorm fridge on Craigslist for less than that.
