Is there any formula to convert - say a 5gal recipe to 6 or 7gal?

6/5= 1.2 ; take all ingredients and multiply by 1.2.
7/5 = 1.4 ; multiply ingredient amounts by 1.4.
7/5 = 1.4 ; multiply ingredient amounts by 1.4.

Many free online recipe calculators will do the job for you. Or you can spend $20 or so for one of the commercial software products.
