My Pale Ale is still bubbling away- slower but strong at 7 days and the krausen is still floating at the top. What is up with this? good utilization... low temp takes longer... its alive?

First time in a better bottle. Always used a opaque bucket so this is the first time I witnessed the action.

Yeast starter with a American Ale (Wyest 1065)
12 oz Victory, 8 oz Munich and 8 oz white wheat malt
2 lb of Briess DME
4 lbs LME at the end of boil
02 for 1 min. with a stone and 02 tank
Temp controlled at 64°
Fermentation started within 8hrs and filled blow out tube

This is the longest vigorous fermentation I have witnessed.

Sounds about right. I did a brew last Sunday and still have krausen all the way up my better bottle neck. I did a starter and had pretty vigorous fermentation for 3 days. Switched to airlock a few mins ago, but still very bubbly. 2-3 secs between bubbles.

It will start to settle out around day 10 for me usually. I'm at 68F though, temp controlled.

Brewed an IPA about 2 and a half weeks ago that bubbled up to day 8 or 9. Taste tests have been great so far. Wouldn't worry about it.
