I just got done brewing a pumpkin ale a few hours ago and I would like some critics on style if possible.

I followed this brewing recipe.

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f76/maple-pumpkin-ale-24249/

I steeped grains instead of mashing since I do not mash at my current set up.

I steeped 2.5 gal at 150 for 35 min (at my best, it went from 160 to 145, but avg was 150).

I did add .5 gal of water at the 50 min mark because I felt the boil off was a lot.

The only thing that screwed me was my thermometer broke half way thought the boiling of the wort process, so my chilling of the wort was half assed, but I do believe it was close as I can get to 70 degrees before I pitched.

My OG was at 1.058, which I though was low. but I did do an extract brew with steeping grains so who knows.

I would love critics to help my brew process, I also welcome questions to help clarify any concerns.
