I've had some really outdated craft beer - that's probably the worst I've had - not going to mention names.

Bud and all those crappy lagers - I know what I'm getting all the time and it's never out of code

Too young for beta but imagine tryin to do the business with a gremlin u would throw up before finishing like a really nasty beer

i dunno - they were kind of cute until you feed them after midnight ( inever understood that- maybe i missed the second part of the instructions - the "and before sunrise" part or something- isn't it ALWAYS after midnight?). maybe you should lower your standards...

Kona Brewing companies Longboard. I almost puked. It was a poker night and I had everyone else try some and they all disliked it too. Maybe just an old batch, but this was nasty.

The worst beer I had was when I went to a Cleveland Brown's/****sburgh Steelers game in the unholy ground in ****sburgh.

I went, with my buddy, to some podunk bar in the bowels of ****sburgh. The bartender saw that I was wearing my Browns gear and bought me a beer. Needless to say, It was a Iron City beer. I took my first big taste of it and literally gagged on it. I ran outside and spit most of it out. I thought for a minute or two that I was going to blow chunks all over the hell that ****burgh is.

So, Iron City is it for me. Horrible beer. Just like the city it comes from!

The worst commercial beer that I ever had was a Miller High Life that a buddy had hidden in his dad's shop for about six months back when I was in high school. Terrible.

Hoegaarden. No matter how many times I've tried, I just cant take it. To me, this taste like drinking straight boiled peanut juice. (BUT boy do I love boil peanuts).............. I dunno, maybe I'm weird :(

May I also add Covington Strawberry Ale. I didn't pour it out but it's pretty bad. I would seriously turn it down if someone offered.

Anything on draught from my local Irish pub. Everything they pour tastes the same because, I suspect, they haven't cleaned the tap lines once since they opened years ago.

There's far too many bars that don't regularly clean their tap lines. I refuse to drink drafts from a hometown bar for this exact reason.

I get called a beer snob, but theres a distinct bad odor and taste difference between a Yuengling draft and bottle at this particular bar. I said something to the bartender and she gave a wtf are you talking about look.

If this is common practice at small places wouldn't there be infections in half of their lines or because they are immediatly changed when emptied the infections have no time to take hold?

its not beginnings II, is it??!!!

Same here I was at a bar in a casino years ago and ordered a budwiesr on tap... Got the beer took a swill and almost puked.. Bartender gave me the WTF look and my friends thought I was crazy.. Haha needless to say it was hot out and cold beer was all I wanted... Good thing I suppressed my anger.. Almost turned green and wrecked the place

I've never been to Beginnings II. They were just voted best wings in Syracuse, so I'm definitely going in my near future.

The bar I was referring to is in Westfield, NY. It's about an hour south of Buffalo.

Johnson City by Binghamton? I'll be down that way this weekend for the Binghamton St. Patty's day parade. Westfield is on Lake Erie.

i had a dos equis at lunch a few months ago and it was gd awful. tasted nothing like i remember which keeps happening with more and more beers that i used to think i enjoyed. i imagine i just tolerated them.

my beer snobbery knows no boundaries since i started brewing.

casanovia is right down the road from manlius right? last time i was at beginnings they threw me out for shooting three innings of trip trips (well- that led to why they threw me out)- in pa, ginsbergs just warrant shots...

That too bad! One of my fondest memories was being on vacation in Kauai with a few friends, touring the island in our beet up Jeep and enjoying some longboard. I think you a bad one. Give it another shot, for me ;)

I am totally lost. I have no idea what this means.

they got mad at me for shooting darts - i threw three perfect innings and they thought i was trying to hustle them, when really i was just drunk.

We had some guesses, but no one in my office was close.

Someone said 3 rounds of the 3 wisemen. I could see someone getting kicked out after that.

I recently had a brew from 3 flyod's (which usually puts out some pretty solid beers). The beer I had from them is called "big stache". Tasted it a group tasting...and it was awful. I'm shocked that they would bottle something like that. It's a sour beer and I'm a big sour beer fan but this beer was undrinkable. taste/smell of nail polish (acetone) was over powering. The only other thing I could get out of the beer was pickle juice. It burned my nostrils.

Don't drink this beer if you see it....my first drain pour ever...and I've had a lot of less than stellar homebrew and commercial beers...

Does anyone remember Wisconsin Club Light? This was an awful beer, but like most of the awful beers of our youth, it's redeeming value was price. Circa 1981 a case of returnable long necks was 3.50 ! The deposit on the bottles was almost as much as the beer. If you were stupid enough to hold them up to the light, often as not you could see $hit floating in there. To quote Mr. Seeger,"Wish I didn't know now, what I didn't know then".

Speaking of sour beers, I know it's probably been mentioned before, but Sam Adams Cranberry "Lambic" is just terrible. I did drain pour that one. It's so awful it's hurting my brain to recall how awful it was. Good sweet lord baby Jesus, why did you allow that creation to happen?

A lot of people love it but I thought Southern Tier's Pumpking was really gross. It had such an artificial taste to it I couldn't finish the bottle.

Worst beer for me has to be XX lager. Not a bad tasting beer, just no flavor. It reminded me of Pellegrino sparkling water and that, in my book, qualifies as one of the worst beers.
