Alright so about a month ago I brewed up my second ever batch, a vanilla bean stout. Primaried for 10 days and racked on top of vanilla extract. It's been in the secondary ever since. I've been crazy busy and had no time to bottle. I shouldn't have any trouble carbing right? Probably over thinking this....

Probably ready to bottle. Take a hygrometer gravity reading and a taste. Keep in mind it will continue to mature in the bottle, but should taste decent if it is finished.

Yep, you are over-thinking it.

I regularly go 8 to 12 weeks with no problems. I only start thinking about re-yeasting (for bottling) when it has been 6 months.

Thanks guys. I guess my worry was that without much yeast cake it may have trouble. But so much for that worry!
