how can i rig my electric meat grinder to a barley crusher

i bought one of these off craigslist http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000IZ9832/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

i took it apart, removed the wormscrew. the end of the worm screw has a hex socket

what would be the easiest way of join it with the 3/8" rod on the barley crusher?

not sure what to use on the meat grinder side though

what about a socket bit? What's the size of the hex on the grinder?

I think itsbabout 8mm. What piece would I get to connect the bit to the coupler.
