Well, for once it looks like we have space in the freezer for me to remove a few shelves and possibly cold crash a batch (better bottle).

My question is, is it okay to cold crash in a not-temperature-controlled freezer? I still have food in there that SWMBO will not let me move. The thermometer says 30 degrees. All advice appreciated.

Don't know if it is ideal, but I've been forced to cold crash in a freezer when my temperature controller broke. I only left it in there for a couple of hours, until I noticed my airlock freeze up. I pulled it out at that point and the brew turned out to be one of the clearest I've had yet.
